Every 25 years the roof has been replaced on the tabernacle. Here scaffolding is exposed during the 1978 roofing.

An interior view of the ceiling reveals arched trusses set inside a center ring and bearing the weight of the building. John H. Cilley, self-made architect and carpenter and winner of Pennsylvania Chautauqua's auditorium design in 1892, designed the Mt. Lebanon tabernacle to withstand the weight of the roof without any central posts.

The snack bar with Hershey's ice cream draws many to the dining hall after services and during weekday evenings.

The dining hall comes alive after dark when cottage holders and visitors relax on the porch.

An old-fashioned gift shop attracts curiosity-seekers who wish to purchase original items for themselves and loved ones.

During campmeeting volunteers bake
volumes of pies and cookies plus
vats of homemade soups.
